So you’re thinking of getting some promotional USB’s made up but you’ve got a few questions? You’re not alone! Here are some of the most common questions we get asked about our custom printed USB’s.

Can I print my logo on the USB?

Yes you can, in fact that’s our specialty. All of our pricing is fully inclusive of FREE setup and logo printing (or engraving for our Metal and Wooden USB options if you’d prefer). We’ll even do the setup and provide an on screen proof for you before proceeding.

How much data can my USB hold?

Every drive on our site is available from 128MB all the way up to 64GB memory sizes so we can cater to whatever your needs. These are personalised USB’s to suit your specific requirements so let us know what you’re using them for and we’re happy to offer advice on the best size to suit.

What can I store on my USB?

Music, videos, cat pictures, complex algorithms for top secret missions, anything you like! The USB’s are all A-Grade branded memory and can be used exactly like any USB you’ve ever purchased. We’ll even preload your data (up to 8GB) free of charge!

USB 2.0 or USB 3.0?

Our standard pricing covers USB 2.0, however USB 3.0 is available on all memory sizes 8GB and over. Just let your friendly account manager know and they’ll price up your custom printed USB’s accordingly.

What’s the turnaround time for production?

We aim for 12-14 working days maximum from artwork sign-off to having your printed flash drives in your hands. Outside factors such as public holidays can affect this, but if you let your account manager know your specific deadline they can usually make it work.

Will my promotional USB’s work with any computer?

They sure will! We format all of our drives in either FAT32 (2GB and lower) or exFAT (4GB and higher) so that they are compatible with all MAC and Windows computers. If you have a specific formatting requirement just let us know and we’ll organise that for you too.

How fast are the read/write speeds?

Standard tested speeds for USB 2.0 and 3.0 and are a guide only:

USB 2.0:
Sequential write speed range = 3~10 MB/s
Sequential read speed range = 10~25 MB/s

USB 3.0:
Sequential write speed range = 10~45 MB/s
Sequential read speed range = 60~150 MB/s

What’s the difference between print and engraving?

Engraving is only available on certain models, most notably the wood and metal USB’s and your logo is etched directly into the surface of the USB. There is no colour added so we recommend this for single colour logos only. With printing we can either Screen print which involves making silk screens for each solid colour in your logo and printing them over the top of each other, or digital print which is full colour. Screen printing is your best option as it lasts longer than digital printing, but if you have a full colour logo digital printing is the only way to go. All of our pricing includes any of these options so we can help you decide what’s best when we see your logo.

Speaking of my logo, how should I supply it to you?

Technical talk incoming so buckle in. The best way to provide your logo is in a vector or outlined EPS, PDF or AI file. Having said that we can often work with other file types if they are at least 300dpi resolution, you just may not get as clean a print result. We’re here to help though so show us what you’ve got!

How do I pay?

We accept Cash, Bank transfer and credit card (with a 1% surcharge). Once you have approved the on screen proof and are happy to book your run of Customised USB’s we’ll send the invoice which will require payment to proceed.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver anywhere in Australia and include FREE delivery to any Australian address with every order!

I paid $X a few years ago and now the price is $Y. Why?

This is a good one and involves the ever fluctuating price of USB components, specifically the NAND flash memory. Our pricing is also affected by the current value of the US Dollar so pricing changes almost every week and can experience surges and lulls. Regardless of what’s going on we will always provide the lowest possible pricing we can in the current market.
